I am a PhD Candidate at the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich. My research interests lie at the intersection of political economics, economic history and public economics. In my Job Market Paper I study how the historical capacity of a state to collect taxes affects citizens' cultural norms and actions in the long run.
I am on the 2021-22 economics job market, and will be available for interviews before, during and after the American (ASSA 2022) and European Job Market (EJME 2021) meetings.
